Crisis in Macedonia: Shelter to be Evicted

DISASTER!! Just when we thought things were starting to improve, we’ve received notice on the land our shelter is based. We now face a new challenge, a challenge bigger than we have ever faced before, the eviction notice has left us totally devastated.

We have one month to relocate to a new site and build kennel space and a fenced exercise area all over again from scratch and make it all weather proof for the harsh winter that will not be long coming.

We have so many beautiful dogs and cats in our care who were in extreme danger when on the streets that we simply can’t let them down now they are safe with us. With us they are no longer starving, feeling the need to run and hide from every human they see.

They now know love and are waiting for their chance of a loving family in a forever home; homes they wholeheartedly deserve

We have found a suitable site – an old cow shed and paddock, yet considerable work is urgently needed – the cow shed needs clearing and a new roof put on, and the whole paddock needs new fencing to make it secure.

Winter comes early in the mountain regions and time really is paramount for work to be completed in time.

WE BEG you please to help us before we face the risk of them being back on the streets; lonely, hungry and in dire straits once again.

.

We need to raise a MASSIVE €3000 Euros ($3570 / £2700) for Phase 1 of this project: to clear the site, put on a new roof and erect secure fencing around the perimeter.

PLEASE WILL YOU HELP? Any amount, no matter how big or small will be very much appreciated ♥

.

PLEASE, PLEASE help us ♥

Hi Michelle, I was just wondering how it is going with the new shelter in Macedonia? Have you raised enough funds for phase 1?….
